How to be rude while trying to sell a domain

Rude DomainersThere are some times were I believe domainers don’t really want to sell domains they list on various marketplaces such as DNF and NP. Their main goal may be to create a fuss around them and keep publicity going.
I m writing this post as a result of the reply I just got in DNF after sending a pm to someone that listed a domain for sale/open to offers.
Domain was a .com, aged and somewhat interesting for reselling purposes so I naturally got attracted and asked him in a nice way what is his BIN and any traffic and revenue involved.

Any reasonable human being that wanted to sell his domain or property would have replied to such pm’s in a nice way and on target. Well, in this case it didn’t happen.
Seller’s reply was rude and offensive like he didn’t want to sell this domain. I m either too passé for this era or he is too rude to sell anything.

Read our short pm exchange and enjoy his way of communicating with a potential buyer:

Me: Hello.
Whats is your bin for ******.com?
Also let me know stats for visits and revenue.

Makis.

Seller: Hello,

I don’t have a BIN, I wait to see what kind of offers I receive.
I don’t sell the names based off of stats, I don’t provide stats for any of my names.
Thanks,
******

So this guy wants to sell a domain when not providing any stats of any kind, in fact he is so arrogant that he lets me know that all domains that he has for sale follow the same rule. He also doesn’t have any bin in mind just looking for offers.
It would have been wiser to create a thread in DNF marketplace with the following data:
1. Hi.
2. I m selling domain ******.com
3. Bye.
That would save everyone’s time and would have been more to the point than the one he originally created.

When joining a domaining community in order to sell your domains you should at least pay respect to other domainers that express interested on them. Its not so easy anymore to sell domains not because the economical crisis but mostly because PPC revenue is down and as a result domainers got smarter and more careful in their picks.
Attitudes like the one mentioned above will surely let your domains unsold and cover your name in bad reputation.

    Re: RUDE
It seems to be an infectious disease that has permeated our entire American society. A one way attitude of people that seem to live in their own bubble, and no one else matters. Everywhere, the cell phone (for one) proves this, in the restaurant, cinemas, on the road, but if you call attention to someone doing this they are indignant. It’s their right, but when the shoe is on the other foot, they are always the first one to crow the loudest.
